Through these four very personal tracks, I try to invoke witchcraft as a means of subversion. Since the witch is the ultimate feminist icon because she's a fully rounded symbol of female oppression and liberation. When feminism didn’t exist, witches were already proclaiming everything that feminism has fought for since its birth: free, enlightened women, alone or with their own tools. Utilising enveloping and atmospheric instrumentation as the backdrop to the magical experience, each track represents an individual spell within an exhausting but ultimately empowering transformation.
